We all know how Some Enchanted Evening was the very 1st simpson episode ever produced (the code was 7G01), but aired as ep 13 because it had to get reanimated. This was because, according to Matt Groening & James L. Brooks, the original cut was abysmal, and it contained not just horrendous background and character designs, but it was also very rubbery-looking in terms of the character movement. They wanted things to be 100% realistic.
And I was rewatching the new version with the 70% replacement animation (S.E.E is 1 of my fav episodes in my fav episodes list because of it's insane history and extremely Troubled Production, even if it could get quite shocking), and - Is it just me, or does the new footage in the redone episode seem unusually very stiff & composed compared to not just the rest of it's season, but quite ALOT of the golden era or 1st half of the show?
The characters movements hardly use any frames to move (Heck, there are even lots of instances where they literally only take until the very next frame to move), thus they could get pretty choppy (Look at Bart when he is laughing after his 1st prank phone call to Moe), they hardly even bother making new frames for more movement (aLoT of shots like Marge telling Monroe about her husband when she started dating with him & Homer scolding Bart towards the end reuse the same movement frames until it was absolutely necessary to make more frames), & whenever they DO use more frames, the characters end up moving as if they are in a slight but very noticeable fast foward (Like the whole entire Rubber Baby Bonkers Babysitters call scene)
When I started to ponder this, I decided to look back at earlier Season 1 episodes that weren't Bart the Genius or Homer's Odyssey (because those episodes are quite more fluid, especially Bart the Genius), to see if they looked the same way, but those episodes didn't look as stiff, so I looked at Season 2/3 episodes, &, while they were a bit closer to this very stiff style, not even they were as stiff as this episode.
While I do accept the fast forward movements most of the time, the other problems (again, hardly any frames, repeating same frames) I don't really like, and they can be a bit hard to watch sometimes.
Do you agree with me? I will put on a vote post.

I have this feeling because I have heard that they can have a VERY antagonistic relationship; Bart tends to call Homer by his 1st name (Homer), or even "Fatass", rather than "Dad", while Homer can call Bart, "The Boy", rather than "Son", "Bart", or just simply "Boy", and they can just outright ATTACK each other or fight, while Homer is well known for his gag of strangling his son (which has gone on for almost 36 years by now!). However, I am noticing something when I watch early episodes of the show; in some of the earlier episodes (Like Little Big Mom, Lisa The Simpson, Insane Clown Poppy, Blame It On Lisa, Bart The Daredevil & Bart Carny), while Homer can still get mad at & strangle Bart alot, Homer & Bart are actually shown to not only have an actual working relationship, but they get along, get along. Like - they would act more like Best Friends or Brothers than an actual Father & Son duo. It could even get to the point where they would both act very childish (Like when they outright DEstROyED the whole house in Little Big Mom, while trying to have just fun). In Season 1, not only did Bart call Homer "Homer" way less often, but there was also some points in Season 1 where he called Homer "Pop", which I don't think you EVER hear on the show no more after those episodes. & whenever they did argue or fight in a way that was not strangling, it was either very, pretty minor & treated as nothing or used as a plot device to showcase as if there not usually like this, but then, a coincidence happened that angered the 2 of them (Like in Bart Star, where they only showed toxic-ness in their relationship when Homer pushes & encourages Bart too hard , meaning it was only used to drive a plot and make ends meet for that episode only, & they even reconcile after Homer apologizes). Again, however when I watch the more modern episodes (Like Dad Behavior, The 2007 Movie, The Wreck Of The Relationship, Dangers On A Train, and the mere beginning of The Winter Of Our Monetized Content), they are show to have the sour and nasty relationship that I have mentioned above here ("The Boy" & "Homer" instead of "Son" & "Dad", strangling, fighting, ETC), with the times where they get along instead, again, like the times they fought in the older seasons, being a plot device used to showcase something happening that never usually happened (The reason they got along later on in The Winter Of Our Monetized Content was because it was a plot device to showcase Homer & Bart's normal toxic relationship, but the video making IS what got them to get along, showing it as if it's unusual for them, thus rendering that moment as a plot device for the whole episode). So all this makes it seem like as if their relationship has rotted over the course of the series. Do you feel the same way?

Where did the "June 17, 1989" original air-date come from? It seems too soon after the last Tracey Ullman short (May 24th) and possibly long before the episodes of the main series produced that year.
Was it when the workprint was produced? It still seems too early to me, as it was less then a month after the Tracey Ullman shorts ended.

So people like to talk forgotten characters through out the show's lifespan from characters like Herb Powell to Larry Burns or even Jay Sherman to Hank Scorpio.
However, there's a character that has dreaded me for a few years now & has became so forgotten to the point that they didn't even make it into the final show.
Allow me to introduce this "character" in-question that was overlooked by almost everyone working on the show (I said "almost" because I'm pretty sure that someone other than me will remember this character), which is "Mrs. Gross".
Now you might be thinking, who the hell is Mrs. Gross & why I think she's the most forgotten character in the entire show? Along with some of you probably saying this question, "is she your fan-made Simpsons OC or was she an actual scrapped character from the show?"
Well just give you some information about this character, as she was originally a character that was going to be planned for Season 1 with her scrapped debut being in an episode titled "Moaning Lisa" & she would of been Springfield Elementary's rude/grumpy crossing guard.
In-fact, Josh Weinstein (aka one of the early season writers before leaving after Season 8 finished & credit to him for showing us the sketch) has a picture of what she would of looked like before she was scrapped:
Now the reason I say that she's a "grumpy person" is because her role would of been an actual jerk to the students & hell even impatient at times.
An example of this is a deleted scene in the episode, as the students try to tell her that cars were about to come this way & she completely FORCES THEM ONTO THE ROAD WITH THEM ALMOST GETTING BY FREAKING CARS (which turns it into a literal dodgeball game but with cars you have to avoid instead of dodgeballs)!
Later on during Moaning Lisa's production, the scene along with the character itself would later be scrapped & the only thing that remains is the script from the episode itself (credit to GoldS_TCRF for giving us the script):
Now for the reason on why she never made into the final show? Well I'm not sure really & after that she was never seen again.
In-conclusion, it would be interesting to see her in a future episode (probably in the 2023 Treehouse Of Horror episode or probably a side plot where Bart tries to stop her by making her get in trouble & making the school fire her).
That's all I have to say about her & that's why I think (in my opinion) she's the most forgotten Simpsons character of all time...

Why do most Simpsons episodes from Seasons 1-3 have the 1992 20th Television logo at the end? I assume it's because they were retired from using the original 1980's logo during the Early-Mid 90's or something like that.

Reason is because I had problems with stress, anxiety, and depression since I was a lot younger, and the Episode “Moaning Lisa” really made me feel her pain. I even sometimes felt getting yelled at whenever I don’t listen or follow the rules. And one of the scenes where Homer yells at Lisa about playing the saxophone in the house was an example of me having some similarities to her. Now I don’t play instruments although I love listening to music alot, I was only referring to Lisa’s feelings in general. Back on Topic, Lisa also had some issues with her siblings, and I also have lots of trouble dealing with my older siblings as well. I easily get mad whenever my older brother picks on and annoys me all the time, although that’s what older siblings do, but that’s besides the point. It’s the same thing as Bart and Lisa’s relationship. Now, I’m not trying to bring up my siblings into this just to bring up some controversial things, and I apologize for that. I’m just stating out some points, and why I’m mainly similar to Lisa in terms of having some sort of disorders. I don’t care if Flanderization can be useful for character development on some characters. Lisa from the first 6 Seasons is still better because of what I’ve been through in my life and I’m a lot like her in those seasons. It doesn’t matter if she was always a Mary Sue at the time, all it matters is that she was the voice of reason, and inspired many kids as well, at least back then. So that is the reason why I relate to Lisa a lot, and why I prefer her Classic self more than her current self, although I dislike her intelligence and attitude at times, at least her IQ level is still useful in some situations even during her decline, and she’s still an icon to television even if the whole world hates her. And besides, I already said this is previous posts, but Lisa isn’t really evil like some people think she is, she just makes the wrong choices and doesn’t know any better (Although that might be an excuse for her actions, but idc), but still at least did some good and heroic things even in the newer seasons. She did some bad and heinous things, but also still did some good and nice things as well. So she’s completely Neutral in terms of character, flaws, storyline, actions, etc. Although I don’t like her Post-Season 6 self as much as her earlier self, I just wanted to state out some points on her recent character. She may not be a good person entirely, but she’s not necessarily a villain in the show.
