Why are they shutting down The Simpsons: Tapped Out?

Some sources say that it will come on November 3rd, but some say it will be here on October 27th.

I was expecting The Simpsons staff to present a poster for all three segments of Treehouse of Horror XXXV, not just “Denim”.

Perhaps they are waiting until either the 36th season begins or the air date for THoH XXXV comes closer.

Here’s how the poster might turn out:

Political red and blue monsters fight in style of Pacific Rim.

The alien symbiotic pair of jeans fusing with Homer, like in the “Denim” poster.

Mr. Burns surrounded by ghosts of his former workers in Victorian times.

The title “TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XXXV” would be in the middle.

Political monsters? Mr. Burns seeing ghosts in Victorian times and Homer’s pair of alien jeans. I wonder if the jeans will talk?

And it gets better. There will be the next special “Simpsons This Way Comes” where Lisa discovers mysterious stuff in the 50s, the present day and a Brutalist future where TV has taken over.

Since they haven’t provided much information, this special might be a big surprise.

Three of these might be in this year’s special. Unless there is an underrated horror film I haven’t heard about.

What films, TV shows or books do you think will be spoofed in this year’s Treehouse of Horror?

I got three spectacular stories that should be Treehouse of Horror segments:

The Thing We Know - Bart, Milhouse, Nelson and the other boys of Springfield Elementary are stalked by a shapeshifting monster out for their blood. A parody of The Thing.

Video Lames - Bart and Milhouse experience the world of video games first hand thanks to Frink’s new invention. But when parodies of famous video game characters like Pac-Man, Mario, Sonic and Mega Man see that Bart and Milhouse are not from any game, they go after the two friends. A parody of the book and movie Ready Player One.

Saw and Order - In a parody of the Saw series, Homer, Lenny, Carl, Moe and Barney have to survive a series of death traps set up by a parody of Jigsaw.
