If I were to freely answer, I'd say seasons 3-11 were the golden age.

Season 6

Imo, Season 6 is better than Season 7.

Mostly no, because Homer strangles Bart almost all the time, Marge nags way too much, and doesn't do a lot to solve the problem, and they sometimes abandon their children.

Bart vs. Thanksgiving. Probably one of my least favorite Bart torture episodes.
