Hannah "Happy" Simpson (née Dinsdale) was according to a Simpson family tree, the paternal great-grandmother of Homer Simpson. She married "Old Tut" Simpson and mothered four children with him; they were Twitta, Elrita, Bonita, and Orville.

She is also the mother-in-law of Yuma Simpson, the paternal grandmother of Abe Simpson and his brothers, Hubert, Tyrone, Cyrus, Bill, and Chet, the ex-grandmother-in-law of Mona Simpson, the great-grandmother-in-law of Marge Simpson, and the paternal great-great-grandmother of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson.
