The 500th couch gag is a couch gag from the fourteenth episode of Season 23.
Plot
The first four couch gags from Bart the Genius, Homer's Odyssey, Moaning Lisa and Bart Gets an "F" are shown, followed by quick snapshots of every couch gag in the series (barring repeats) until the camera pulls back into a mosaic that reads, "500." The mosaic then shatters, revealing Homer and Bart, in tuxedos, strangling each other, with Homer's famous catchphrase, "Why you little!!!"
