636th Episode Celebration couch gag

The 636th Episode Celebration couch gag is the ninth couch gag of Season 29.

Plot[]

The Simpson family runs into the Museum of TV and Television, running past exhibits of long-running TV shows until finally reaching their couch, celebrating a record-breaking 636 episodes (surpassing Gunsmoke). The Simpsons sit on the couch as usual, except for Lisa, who skeptically looks up her MyPod and discovers that it's only episode 632, much to Homer's disappointment.

Character Appearances[]

Behind the Laughter[]

This couch gag is similar in premise to the 500th Episode Celebration couch gag in that the show celebrates an episode milestone too early, and Lisa verifies the mistake. Lisa tells him that they are four episodes ahead.

Actually, Episode 636 is Forgive and Regret.
