A Taste of Springfield is a food festival in Springfield, that offers "fine dining in a bee-filled atmosphere". Many of Springfield's restaurants set up their own booths at the outdoor festival.
A Taste of Springfield was the site of an assassination attempt on Homer Simpson, then-Springfield Shopper food critic. A chef from The French Confection attempted to poison Homer with an eclair.
