Full story[]
In 1944, Abraham Simpson and his father, "Old Tut", watched baseball together. During this time, "Old Tut" mentioned to Abraham that one day he would watch baseball with his own grandson. In the present day, it didn't happen, and he was still waiting. Therefore, he called his grandson, Bart, who informed him that if he wanted to watch individuals wearing tight pants, he could observe Homer struggling with his pants. When Grampa hears the commotion caused by Moe and notices him on another bench during the game, he decides to join Moe in mocking the member of New York Yankees team. They take great pleasure in each other's company leading to a friendship and the exchange of phone numbers.
Homer enters the Moe's, but upon seeing Moe and Grampa after enjoying more games together, he becomes frightened and rushes out of the bar. The sports game broadcast is disrupted by an announcement that Aeropos Walkov is arriving in America to come to play. Moe devises plan to create a video aimed at persuading him to join the Springfield Isotopes. In Macedonia, Walkov received numerous emails containing a video, but he declined the invitation until receiving a package from Moe and Grampa that included a videotape. Observing the care and effort they invested in the video, along with the tire fire resembling the one near his home, he graciously accepts their invitation. After accepting their invitation and welcoming them, the first match begins, and Bart visited Grampa during the first game, bringing him joy. Moe asks Bart to meet Walkov after completing the first match.
After winning the game, Bart asks Moe about his supposed meeting with Walkov. Moe, however, denies the claim and departs on the bus with Walkov to continue his support. During the next match, Grampa noticed that there was a lot of sponsorship on TV. Bart and Grampa went to Toblerone Stadium to watch Moe and Walkov, but the guard informed them that they were not permitted to enter unless they were members of De Beer Diamonds. Consequently, they proceeded to Section J, where seats had been relocated to an immense height in the clouds, and the food got changed too. He goes downstairs to speak with Moe, which leads to an argument. Moe subsequently discovers that Walkov began betting as a result of the numerous commercials, leading him cries. While the elderly are learning to email, Moe wants to speak with Grampa privately regarding the recent incident involving Walkov and seeks help. He rejects Moe, as Grampa prioritizes money over baseball. When Grampa returns home to inform Bart of the recent events, he unexpectedly discovers that Bart is also engaged in gambling.
During the press conference, Walkov becomes emotional and confesses to betting on baseball. Grampa then arrives with Bart to comfort Walkov regarding his gambling. Moe, in fact, acknowledges his actions and confesses, attributing the chaos to the networks. The sports news reporters declared that Moe was found guilty, while Walkov finalized a contract with the newly renamed San Francisco Draft-Pigs. At least Bart is not gambling; however, he arrives at Moe's with a significant amount of money without any apparent losses.
