Alfie is a man who only appeared briefly in "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". He works as a Mall Elf at the Springfield Mall that assists the "Santa," Homer Simpson. His primary job is to lift children onto Santa's lap. He isn't very enthusiastic about his job, probably why he doesn't actually speak. Later, when Homer drags Bart Simpson into Santa's Workshop for pulling off his beard, he asks Alfie to cover for him.
