Alfie is a non-speaking character appearing briefly in Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire. He works as an "elf" at the Springfield Mall that assists the "Santa", Homer Simpson. His primary job is to loft children onto Santa's lap. He isn't very enthusiastic about his job, probably why he doesn't actually speak. When Homer drags Bart Simpson into Santa's Workshop, he asks Alfie to cover for him.
