Amelia Vanderbuckle was a feminist inventor and scientist who lived in Springfield in the 1800s.
History[]
She was the middle child of a family of seventeen (twelve of whom died due to exposure to drafty windows). Her father worked as a human canary in the poison mines.
Amelia was the first female graduate of Springfield Tech. She invented a couple of things, such as a rudimentar computer using a loom and a steam-powered barber chair, which failed as it decapitated a man. She was later diagnosed with acute feminine overreachism, and was committed to the Springfield Home For the Criminally Different, hiding her rudimentar computer under a feminist club. However, she continues to work as an inventor within the confines of the asylum.
Trivia[]
According to her voice recording, she had dated Nikola Tesla and later broke up with him.
