Amy Poehler (born September 16, 1971) is an American actress, comedienne, producer, singer, voice actress, and writer. She is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live and can be seen as Leslie Knope on the mockumentary series Parks & Recreation. She is also best known for voicing Joy in Disney Pixar's Inside Out. She created the Nickelodeon series The Mighty B! and voiced its lead character Bessie Higgenbottom. She is currently starring in the NBC reality competition series Making It and the FOX animated sitcom Duncanville.

On The Simpsons, she guest voiced as Jenda in "Future-Drama" and "Days of Future Future".

Poehler recently appeared with Tina Fey (who voiced Ms. Cantwell in the episode, Black-Eyed, Please) on Saturday Night Live including Baby Mama (2008) and Sisters (2015).
