"Another Springfield Day" is a song sung by the people of Springfield after an accident on a major road in S29 E10, "Haw-Haw Land". The song is a parody of the opening song of "La-La Land" as it uses the same melody. It describes how Springfield is a terrible town.

The Simpsons Another Perfect Springfield Day

(Camera pans down from the Springfield Sign and shows a car accident.)

(Car horns honk and you can hear groaning.)

(Everyone gets out of their cars as the melody starts)

Lenny: Another Springfield Day!

A truly perfect place to see your dreams just fade away.

Carl: Working at the plant’s fried everything inside my pants.

Goodbye to all romance.....

Lenny and Carl: All I've got to show,

for 20 years or so is you.

Lenny (speaking): Carl!

Carl (speaking): Prescription pain pills!

Eleanor : I have a law degree.

For years I've smelled just like cat pee.

This town just drags you down.

One of Eleanor's Cats: She's completely lost her head,

and we will eat her when she's dead.

It really shouldn't be too long...

Eleanor: Cats! Cats! Cats!

All Cats: She'll be our dinner!

(The two lines above are spoke at the same time.)

Everyone: This truly is an awful town.

The water's green, the sky is brown.

Pope Francis came, he turned around.

Our strongest bridge just holds ten pounds.

We're poisoned by a greedy clown.

Krusty : Kan-ga-roo meat!

Everyone: Traffic suffers from paralysis.

Hans Moleman: Please. I'm late for my dialysis.

Everyone: It's another Springfield Day!

Chorus/Everyone: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Pedro : I'm too sad to say "olé"!

Chorus/Everyone: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Waylon Smithers, Jr.: We've lost our coolest gays.

Chorus/Everyone: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Barry: Duffman thinks this town's okay!

Chorus/Everyone: Oh, oh, oh, oh.

It's another Springfield day!
