  • The title of this episode is a reference to the American film "Any Given Sunday".
  • Lisa's camcorder is labelled "My Little Sony", a portmanteau of "My Little Pony" and "Sony". It could also be a nod to the "My First Sony" line of electronics made in the mid-late 1980's.
