"Apocalypse D'oh!" is the first of four animated shorts created by Disney as part of the crossover between The Simpsons and the video game Fortnite. It follows Kang and Kodos attempting to destroy the Fortnite island, before accidentally merging it with Springfield, all while Homer finds a purple shard that gives him reality bending powers. It was released on November 1, 2025, on Disney+, YouTube and in Fortnite. It features guest stars Troy Baker as Agent Jones and Suzie Yeung as Hope.
Plot[]
Hope and Agent Jones attempt to stop The Dark Presence summoned by Kang and Kodos, leading Springfield to merge with the Fortnite island to create a Springfield island, all while Homer finds a shard from The Dark Presence that (when combined with his remote) gives him reality altering abilities.

The short begins with Kang and Kodos having summoned a demon known as The Dark Presence, with the goal being to use it in their plan to conquer the Fortnite Island. Hope, Agent Jones, and Fishstick (who gets turned into literal fishsticks by the alien duo) fight back and even mange to get into the ship. Hope distracts Kodos by throwing a brick at his helmet while Jones and Kang have a slap fight. They are quickly distracted and forced to work together when The Dark Presence goes rogue and makes a interdimensional wormhole to send them through time. Hope tries to take the Zero Point Shard from the chest of the demon, but only manges to get one small piece before being thrusted into the wormhole.
In the wormhole, Jones and Kang panic thinking they will die in the wormhole. Kodos soon realizes he can recalibrate his ship to go back to Springfield (located in his home dimension), Hope doesn't want that though and recalibrates the ship to go towards the Fortnite Island. Kodos and Hope argue, recalibrating the dimensions over and over again, until the two dimensions merge into a Springfield Island. Kodos then states that he and Kang can take over this new dimension, before a Battle Bus flies right through the ship, Hope and Jones escaping yet Kang and Kodos weren't so lucky. They hit the front of the bus drive by Otto, who whipes them off instantly.
At The Simpsons house, Homer is annoyed that his TV remote needs new batteries, before the Zero Point Shard from Kang and Kodos' ship crash lands through the house. Marge tells Homer to immediately hand it over to the cops. But Homer doesn't comply, instead he shoves the Shard into the remote. When the new remote is used, it alters reality (like changing Snowball II into a robot cat). Marge tells Homer it's not a good idea to use the remote, but Homer says that he wants to do good for the Springfield Island by altering reality. Homer walks around town, helping Carl and Hans Moleman while on his way to Moe's Tavern.
In the Tavern, Homer discusses with Moe about how the remote can make Springfield better, with him having already helped Moe by giving him unlimited Toilet Paper and Self Serving Pretzels. Homer comments on Hope and Jones, to where Moe says he distracted them with said Pretzels.
