Apu Nahasapeemapetilon has a small dog. He is seen walking them when Bart skateboards through Springfield in the original opening sequence.

The dog has a very minor role in the Simpsons. When Bart Simpson passes Apu and Apu's dog on a skateboard the dog barks. This clip was used for over 18 years (Season 2 - Season 20). He also makes brief appearances in The Heartbroke Kid, and Little Big Girl. Although, it wasn't confirmed it was the exact dog.
