Apu's apartment is where Apu, Manjula and their eight children live. Before Apu married Manjula in "The Two Mrs. Nahasapeemapetilons", only Apu lived there.
Apu rarely ever spends time at his home, as he believes his work is more important, even over his own family, as shown on multiple occasions.
