Arnie Pye in the Sky (sometimes known as Arnie in the Sky) is a segment of the Channel 6 News. It features Arnie Pye, a helicopter pilot, who reports on traffic, high speed pursuits and other newsworthy situations from an airborne view. Arnie and Channel 6 News anchor Kent Brockman rarely discuss the news; instead, the two argue about real estate, superhuman abilities, theology, and their views of each other.
The segment's title is its own gag, deliberately zigzagging away from the more natural title, "Pye in the Sky," a play on words with the phrase "pie in the sky".
Replaced Brockman
Kent Brockman was once fired so Arnie took over his place while he was fired.
