Assassin's Creed: Summer of Love is a fictional video game featured in the episode "The Food Wife." It is seen in the E4 Convention.
An obvious parody of the Assassin's Creed series, the cover of the game depicts a man in hippie apparel, who stands holding a guitar while brandishing two wrist-mounted hidden blades.
Behind the Laughter[]
In the game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, released three years after the Simpsons episode, there is a reference to this small gag. In an in-game email from the series antagonists, the player can read a list of certain Assassins that are of particular interest to the villains, one of whom was active during the "Summer of Love".
