The banker is an employee at the First Bank of Springfield. As an excuse to stir up trouble, Bart Simpson spread the rumor that he lacked enough money to give customers. This caused an Angry Mob to stir up at the bank. Things only intensified when the banker made up the alibi that the money was at "Bill's house and Fred's house". This caused the audience to lash out at Fred.
