Used by Marge in "I Married Marge" after she began to suspect that she was pregnant with her and Homer's fourth child, especially since she was experiencing similar symptoms like during the times she was pregnant with Bart, Lisa and Maggie.
Marge is a little disappointed that her husband didn't get a more well-known/renowned brand, but Homer claims that he got a box from this brand because it came with a free corncob pipe (like what the mascot's depicted with on the box).
The box's directions for the test read: "Ahoy maties, if the water turns blue, a baby for you. If purple ye see, no baby thar be." But after Marge took the test and her results turned out pink instead blue or purple, she looked at the box again and saw, "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail."
After reading this, Marge went to go see Dr. Julius Hibbert, the family's primary physician, to have an official pregnancy test done. When she finally gets home from her appointment, Marge reveals to Homer (and, by extension, their kids) that she's not pregnant, which she and Homer are relieved by and ecstatic about.
