One of the more less-popular gags in the opening sequence is Bart skateboarding out of Springfield Elementary School.
After the school bell rings during the chalkboard gag, Bart turns towards the door of the classroom and happily runs out of the classroom. He then flies out of the school in his skateboard, passes by the flag pole, falls back down, and continues to skateboard on the sidewalk while passing by three buildings (a few trees and a huge field in Season 1).
