Bossy Riot is modeled after the Russian feminist punk protest group Pussy Riot, which fights for feminism, LGBTQ+ rights, and protesting Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his policies via punk rock music and graffiti art, as well as disrupting public events.
The glittered and burning eyes reference Saving Private Ryan, because after a tank blast Miller watches in shock of his men being ambushed by Nazis. Milhouse suffers the same thing after Wendell bumps into him and knocks his glasses off. Also Martin retrieving his foam finger references a one-armed soldier finding his lost arm in that same movie.

Although, Disney still kept 20th Century Fox Film Corporation copyright name and its 20th Century Fox Television logo under its new spin-off company, Fox Corporation.
