History
In Sideshow Bob's flashback Bob was trying to decide on a new place to live, he took a globe, spun it, and stabbed it with a knife, so as to get a random country. After a couple of more unpleasant options, the knife stabs Bartovia, to which Bob says, "Now cut that out."[1]
Geography
The geographical features of Bartovia are obviously designed to mimic Bart's facial features. This includes a large lake mimicking Bart's eye, a river mimicking his mouth and a rugged northern coastline mimicking the spikes in his hair.
Trivia
- After stabbing Bartovia, Bob spins the globe slightly and sees Italy, suggesting that on Bob's globe Bartovia is located near Europe.
- Bartovia is a fictional country.[2]
Appearances
Episode – "The Italian Bob" (seen on the globe)
