The beekeeper's assistant is an employee of Goldsboro's Honey. After the beekeeper notices that the bees are not making noise and realizes they are not present at their building, he and his assistant search for the bees. They track them them down to 742 Evergreen Terrace, where the bees are attracted to the sugar pile which Homer Simpson has put up.

His characterization is modeled off of Burt Ward's portrayal of Batman's assistant Robin in the 1960s Batman television series.
