Ben Matlock was the main character in the television series "Matlock".
History
He briefly appeared in "Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy" during the opening of the Center for Geriatric Medicine, where he visited Springfield, but when he arrived onto the stage, he suddenly gets mobbed to the ground by various seniors who were pleased to meet him. Eventually, Matlock had to be taken away by an ambulance due to Jasper Beardly taking his pills for his heart problems.

In the actual TV series he appears in, he is played by Andy Griffith.
