Big Band Stu is Disco Stu's counterpart in the Treehouse of Horror XVII segment "The Day the Earth Looked Stupid". Set in 1938, the story shows how Springfield reacted to the Orson Welles alien broadcast. Not knowing the broadcast was a hoax, the citizens of Springfield start rioting and breaking into stores. During these riots, Stu was shot and killed by Homer.
