Birgit (pronounced "Beer gut") is a second-grade student at Springfield Elementary School. She has pale blonde hair and wears a light gray beret. Like Lisa Simpson, Janey Powell, and Ralph Wiggum, she is one of Elizabeth Hoover's students.[1]
