Body Layers couch gag |
|
The Body Layers couch gag is the second couch gag of Season 24.
Plot[]
The Simpson family is already seated on the couch, but they're completely black. Suddenly, all of the layers of their bodies start to go onto them one by one. Their bones (except for their skulls and ribs) and their meninges appear first, followed by their circulatory systems and brains, their organs and eyeballs, their skulls and ribs, their muscular systems, and their integumentary systems and clothing.
Also, after the skulls and ribs are shown, Homer notices his donut inside his stomach, so he takes it out and holds it. When his integumentary system and clothes are seen later, he re-eats the donut.
As a variation for the repeating couch gag from "Now Museum, Now You Don't," the layers begin to place one by one as Homer screams. Once he grabs a donut inside the stomach, he says "Mmm..." and re-eats it after placing the last two layers.
