The Bouvier Family is one of the main families in Springfield.

History

Marge's parents are Clancy Bouvier and Jacqueline Bouvier (nee Gurney). It has been proven by Marge in the episode "The Color Yellow," when she told Homer, "You're not French, my dad is." This means that Marge and the kids are of French descent.

While she is technically part of the Simpson family, Lisa Simpson has once changed her surname to Bouvier after she realizes that her father bet against her in a crossword tournament.
