Brendan Beiderbecke is an 11 year-old British jazz pianist who Lisa Simpson had a crush and relationship with. The two met when the Simpson family went to a STEM conference. While Lisa is walking around, she finds Brendan playing the piano in the main lobby and soon develops a crush on him.

He is transferred to a school in the West Springfield district, presumably West Springfield Elementary School.
