“ | I've sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, and by gum, it put them on the map! | „ |
~ Lyle Lanley |
Brockway is a town that was first mentioned by Lyle Lanley as towns to which he's sold monorail systems. It is unknown if Brockway was ruined by Lanley's monorail scam, but going by what happened to North Haverbrook and what almost happened to Springfield, it most likely was. It is also unknown if Brockway ever recovered.
Trivia[]
- All towns on Lanley's map are in Springfield's state, yet they all seem to be located too far apart to be located in a single state. North Haverbrook is located in the middle of the United States, Ogdenville is located to the west and Brockway is located in the south east United States (approximately located in South Carolina). The most plausible explanation is that Lanley is a terrifically poor geographer, simply dotting the names at random on a blank map of the United States.
