Canada is a country in North America. The Simpsons have visited Canada on several occasions.

History

Canada was also the location of the Vancouver Winter Olympics where team Simpson-Skinner entered curling and won the gold medal.[1] The Canadian national anthem was also sung at the end of a baseball match after a fight broke out because of the Pre-Teen Braves and the Cavalry Kids. Homer, Grandpa, Apu and Ned all visited Canada to get drugs from there into Springfield but got arrested for doing so (namely because they crashed their plane and woke Chief Wiggum up). Canada is the largest country in North America, but is sparsely populated. Canada has 10 provinces: Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Newfoundland. It also has 3 territories: Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon. The French-speaking province of Quebec has tried to gain independence from Canada because of its cultural differences from the rest of the country.

Canada is a Commonwealth Realm governed by Queen Elizabeth II and the heir apparent is Prince Charles.
