Canada is the second largest country in the world and located north of the United States of America.

History

Canada was also the location of the Vancouver Winter Olympics where team Simpson-Skinner entered curling and won the gold medal.[1] The Canadian national anthem was also sung at the end of a baseball match after a fight broke out because of the Pre-Teen Braves and the Cavalry Kids. Homer, Grampa, Apu and Ned all visited Canada to get prescription drugs from there into Springfield but they got arrested at the border when it was discovered their van was full of pills (Homer and Grampa were arrested again, namely because they crashed their plane and woke Chief Wiggum up).[2]

Canada is the largest country in North America, but is sparsely populated. Canada has 10 provinces: Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Newfoundland. It also has 3 territories: Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon. The French-speaking province of Quebec has tried to gain independence from Canada because of its cultural differences from the rest of the country.

Canada is a Commonwealth Realm with Queen Elizabeth II as its Queen and head of state and Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister.
