Carter Pewterschmidt is the main villain (and an anti-heroic recurring character) of the adult animated television series Family Guy.
He is the husband of Barbara Pewterschmidt, the father of Patrick, Lois, and Carol Pewterschmidt, and the maternal grandfather of Meg, Chris, and Stewie Griffin.
He is a shipping mogul and conservative billionaire who strongly dislikes his infamous son-in-law, Peter Griffin, and frequently butts heads with him.
He was seen at the Duff vs. Pawtucket Patriot Ale trial in "The Simpsons Guy".
