General Store' is a combination gas station, souvenir, food and bait shop along a mountain road 8 miles from Catfish Lake.

Homer tells Marge they should stop there for gas despite the tank being full. Marge says she going to stretch her legs While inside and he buys bait behind Marge's back. While at the counter the worm man tells him the legend of a gigantic catfish known as General Sherman. Homer ask "Who says that" and the worm man points to four rustics sitting in the corner. Homer then declares to the whole shop he will General Sherman.[1]
