The Chalmers house is the home of Gary Chalmers and his daughter, Shauna Chalmers.
"Habeas Tortoise" reveals that it is across from the Springfield Zoo and is constantly in the vicinity of sea lion noises. Chalmers has installed an electronic doorbell with a surveillance camera, which is why Homer wishes to ask him for help finding incriminating evidence against the Zoo Director.
A doomsday prepper, Chalmers keeps a large arsenal of apocalyptic supplies in his basement containing a variety of bulk foods, first-aid equipment, and 4 automatic rifles. There is also a large framed poster of a threatening slogan against trespasser.[1]
