Chazz Busby is the owner of Chazz Busby Ballet Academy. He accepted Lisa in his academy because she had a perfect ballet posture. When Lisa quit ballet and threw her shoes onto him, he tipped his hat and danced villainously down the street, eventually getting on a bus, all while still doing jazz-hands.
In "Whistler's Father", he works as a judge at a baby talent audition for Hot Shot Tots. When he is told Maggie Simpson knows how to whistle, he neutrally says, "This I gotta hear. Not because I'm looking forward to it, but because it is my job." He then smokes an entire cigarette to smithereens in 1 inhale.
Behind the Laughter[]
His name is a reference to the famous director and choreographer of musicals Busby Berkeley, although the character design is based on Joe Gideon, Roy Scheider's character in Bob Fosse directed movie All That Jazz.
