Clank, Clank, You're Dead! is a science-fiction movie. A poster for the film and a robot prop used in the movie are seen on sale at antiques and collectibles store Cockamamie's.

Browsing the store, Bart and Lisa find the film's poster - which shows the film's characters and tagline "A mechanical man... with the heart of a monster!" - as well as a life-size robot prop from the film.
Lisa tells Bart she feels awful for the midget who would've had to sit inside the small torso of the robot prop to operate it during filming. Bart shrugs, telling Lisa the performer was paid for his work. After they both walk away, a hatch on the torso of the prop swings open, revealing a midget's skeleton still inside.
