Scene from "Homer to the Max"

Marge dances with Bill Clinton at a party held at Trent Steele's home when the staffer approaches President Clinton to whisper into his ear. President Clinton then says to Marge, "Aw, shoot. Quebec's got the bomb. Well, I got to go". ("Homer to the Max")

Just before the 1996 presidential election Bill Clinton and Bob Dole are replicated and replaced by Kang and Kodos. The staffer points to "Clinton" that people wondering why he and "Dole" are constantly holding hands. "(Treehouse of Horror VII)"

Behind the Laughter

On the DVD audio commentary track it was mentioned the character design was based on George Stephanopoulos who had worked on the 1992 and 1996 Clinton-Gore campaigns and also in the White House.
