Clobber Girl is Lisa Simpson's superhero alternative. She, along with her partner, Stretch Dude, got their powers in the gym of Springfield Elementary by accidentally getting hit by an x-ray machine scanning Halloween candy when it malfunctions.
Together, they fought the evil Collector, who kidnapped famous television characters from various geek TV shows and movies.
Amelia Earhart
Her power is super strength. Clobber Girl is vulnerable to kryptonite and is always barefoot because her shoes were knocked off when the gym bleacher fell on top of her during the x-ray machine accident. Lisa was dressed up for Halloween as famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart which became the basis for Clobber Girl's superhero outfit.
Enemies[]
The foes of Clobber Girl and her partner Stretch Dude are a bank robber, Saddam Hussein, Nazi zeppelins and different kinds of evil. Their biggest archnemesis is the Collector.
Trivia[]
The character debuted around the time notably muscular female wrestler Chyna became the first female WWF Intercontinental Champion. Some believe Chyna was a steroid abuser.[1]
