The clown fan is a ceiling fan Bart once imagined as a scary clown. The clown coaxes Bart into performing a stunt which involves him tying a rope to the blades of the fan. The stunt almost got him killed.

Trivia

• This is the second time Bart has imagined an evil clown, the first being Lisa's First Word.
• It may not have been a figment of Bart's imagination after all, but been a parody of pennywise, an evil shapeshifting clown, and had coaxed Bart into performing the stunt to get him killed and become an easy meal.
