Cool Kids are a group of characters that appear exclusively in the Do The Bartman music video.
History[]
The Cool Kids are seen hanging in front of the Springfield Elementary sign while all the parents arrive for the Fourth Grade Dance Recital. During the recital, Bart kicks things off by playing "Do The Bartman" through his walkman and erupts the auditorium into dance. As Bart leads his classmates down the school steps, the Cool Kids in front of the sign take notice and accompany Bart for the remainder of the music video. They are next seen performing the signature dance after Bart transitions from his bedroom to a sidewalk. After Lisa's saxophone solo, Bart meets up with the cool kids again and strut down the streets of Springfield while pulling in many of the ongoing residents. They are last seen with Bart and many others dancing in front of the statue of Jebediah Springfield until it's shown that Bart was daydreaming during the recital.
Physical Appearance[]
The group consists of three males with distinct appearances. The first member has slick back blue hair and pale white skin similar to Wendell. He is seen wearing rectangular shades, purple hoodie, green shirt, orange shorts, and magenta all star sneakers. The second member is African American and his wardrobe consists of a red headband, a white untucked button up shirt, orange pants, and red all star sneakers. The third member is seen with a pompadour and is sporting a red jacket, a clock necklace, green shirt, dark green shorts, and purple all star sneakers.
Trivia[]
- They have made their only appearance in the Do The Bartman music video and have not made any appearances within the main series.
- The clock necklace worn by one of the Cool Kids is likely a reference to rapper Flava Flav.
- In the promo art for the music video, all three Cool Kids are miscolored.
