The Couch's Morning Routine couch gag is the eighth couch gag of Season 22.
Plot[]
The couch goes through its usual morning routine before the Simpson family sits on it:
The couch wakes up to its alarm clock, and stops its ringing before getting out of bed. It then shaves its face after taking a morning shower. Then, it eats breakfast with its wife and two children. Afterwards, the couch is riding a subway train to the Simpson house while reading an issue of "The Couch Chronicle". The couch arrives at the house just in time, and inserts its time card into the timecard reader, thus beginning the couch's work shift. It then enters the living room, does a few stretches, and goes into its usual position, where the Simpson family arrives and sits on the couch as usual.
