Cranford is a town that was once mentioned. While Homer was searching for an erroneous headline to win a T-shirt, he shown his family a possible erroneous headline which read 'CRANFORD MAN MISSING', because he thought the editor forgot to type in the object the 'Cranford Man' was 'missing'. There is a Cranford in New Jersey. This could possibly another be a reference to Springfields location but as always it contradicts several others such as KBBL Radio location.
