The Credit Union employee is a clerical worker who manages the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant Employee Credit Union. When Homer Simpson requested $5,000 so that he could buy Lisa a pony, she explained that that loan amount was too expensive for her to approve, and directed Homer to one who could underwrite such a loan: Mr. Burns.
