David Copperfield is a world famous American illusionist. He is also the most commercially successful magician in history.

He was in the play Astonishing Girlfriend on Broadway.
Along with Penn Jillette, Teller and Ricky Jay, he switched the trick milk can with a regular milk can to kill Cregg Demon, because he stole Copperfield's sexiest magical gestures. When Lisa was about to save Demon, the four tried to stop her. Copperfield transformed into a lion and tried to attack Lisa. Homer ran to save her, but was captured in the cage by the magicians. Suddenly, The Great Raymondo appeared to rescue Lisa. Before attacking Raymondo, Copperfield unbuttoned his shirt, turned on a fan and soared. Raymondo said that he's just an old man who couldn't fight them all, but he then cut the line keeping the scaffolding above the magicians which fell down on them.
