When Lionel Hutz is struggling in defending Marge Simpson for the charge of shoplifting, he calls Crosby for support. Crosby tells him to "hang in there".

In 1984, he presented the Grammy awards. The Be Sharps ended up winning the primary Grammy.

He died on January 18, 2023 after an illness.
