Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Robison, collectively known as The Dixie Chicks, are an all-girl country music trio from Texas. They became notorious during the early 2000s when Maines made a comment criticizing the George W. Bush administration during a concert in 2003. The group has sold 30.5 million albums in the United States through August 2009. The trio dropped "Dixie" from their name in 2020 and is now known as "The Chicks".
In the episode Bart-Mangled Banner they can be seen locked inside the jail of the Ronald Reagan Reeducation Center. They appeared as themselves in the episode Papa Don't Leech.
