Don Payne was an American writer. On The Simpsons he has often co-written episodes with John Frink. He has recently moved to screenwriting. Payne has written such movies as My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) Thor (2011) and its sequel (2013). He passed away on the evening of March 26th, 2013. [1] In White Christmas Blues, Payne appears as an angel next to an angel of Edna Krabappel in tribute.
